We had a nice visit this weekend with Grandpa Bill, following Grandma Janet's the previous week. Jilly kept him very entertained and they colored a lot. Unfortunately there were no sightings of Grandpa with butterfly clips in his hair, although he is not against the idea of dressing like a princess...

Paul update: He has surpassed everyone's expectations as far as eating goes (the pediatrician said he's going to be a football player with his appetite!). Unfortunately, he has been so focused on eating that he has regressed a bit in his breathing and has a little case of apnea, which is pretty common. Since they can't justify keeping him in the NICU when he doing so well aside from these episodes, which aren't severe, he may be home soon but on a little bit of oxygen for a while. Most preemies overcome this issue soon after their due dates. It will be a bit daunting to bring him home this way, but at least he would be home!

So glad to hear that Paul may be home soon. I hope that it does not become too much to handle while he's on the oxygen. Jillian is so stinking cute! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSeeing and hearing Jillian in these videos just make me laugh. She is so cute! Love the "life like" kitty. Glad to hear Paul is eating like a champ. Hopefully he'll be home soon.
