Halloween activities!

Today we went to a great playdate where the kids got to decorate cookies and play. They each got a bat, pumpkin and ghost cookie to decorate - that is, plaster with frosting and candies to the point that it no longer looks appetizing to anyone over the age of 5! They had so much fun and the hosting mom always goes all out, even giving out Halloween favors to the kids as they leave. She even has a spread of food and drinks for the mom, what a treat for everybody! After the playdate we had a going back to work lunch for Alicia - we will miss her being a stay at home mom for her maternity leave, but she has to go back so she doesn't lose any of her engineer brain cells, especially after witnessing the rest of us whose minds have since turned to jello! Just kidding! Sort of...

Jilly was just going to be a monkey again for Halloween, but Heather dug out this darling ladybug costume for Jilly! Still has TAGS!

Tomorrow the Halloween fun continues - a trip to a farm just down the street, literally, for a hayride and pumpkin picking in the sunny 65 degree weather. Gotta love fall!
