Baby Animal Days!
Today we headed up to Baby Animal Days, about 45 minutes north of us. It was the perfect day - about 60 degrees, sunny and clear! Jillian got to ride a pony and a little train and pet lots of baby animals, like chicks, goats, piglets, and bunnies. We had a picnic and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of bright green budding trees against the snowy mountains.
Paul and mom didn't make it into any photos because Paul snoozed in the baby bjorn on mom the entire time, under his little tent (a nursing cover) to protect him from the sun. Paul is really wanting to smile and coo at us now and is much easier to handle now that we realized that when he is grouchy he often just wants to hang out with us! I can barely get him to do tummy time because he will either roll over to his back, and can now go either left or right, or just lay down his head and relax! Here he is giving up on tummy time and making a couple of cute baby noises until his sister pipes in being goofy! :)

Alli gets so excited when she sees Jillian and Paul. She points, smiles and squeals so we do lots of replays.
ReplyDeletefin would have loved to hang out with jilly riding horses, train ride and petting zoo...all of fin's favorite things. we miss you guys.
